One of the warmest most inviting presentations at @designmiami was the “Following Matter” booth presented by @atraformstudio and designed by Alexander Diaz Anderson and Andreas Diaz Anderson.
Happened to cross paths with the lovely @moodringboutique also wearing @bythelb to NADA yesterday! Both pieces are part of her “soft armor” series. They act as representation of power and control for Caribbean women of color. The craft of armor is based off carnival tradition, masquerade, and Caribbean mythology. Thanks so much to Lauren for lending me this coat. I felt like another piece of art at the fair.
